Zulu, or isiZulu, is one of the Bantu languages and is the most widely spoken indigenous language in South Africa. It is the mother tongue of the Zulu people, who are the largest ethnic group in the country. Zulu is characterized by its unique click sounds, known as "click consonants," and it is written in the Latin script.
