The Uyghur language, or Uighur, is a Turkic language spoken primarily by the Uyghur people, who are a Turkic ethnic group residing in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China. Uyghur is also spoken by Uyghur communities in Central Asia and other parts of the world.
